Youths rally for Governor Wike
Ahead of the 2019 General Elections, thousands of youths have trooped-out in their masses to show their support for the administration of Governor Nyesom Wike.
The youths from the Obio/Akpor, Phalga and Akuku/Toru Local government area of Rivers state, armed with placards of various inscriptions, expressed their support for the current administration.
It was a carnival-like atmosphere, when the youths and some political stakeholders walked on the streets of Port Harcourt, with the aim of sensitizing the public to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2019 elections in the State.
Addressing journalists, leaders of the One Million Walk for WIKE, Eddyson Ehie, and Major Jack advised the youths to shun violence and get their PVCs.
Some of the youths also spoke with Galaxy TV correspondent Abiodun Yusuf on how prepared they are for the elections in the State.
The One Million Walk started from Aggrey Road in Port Harcourt and terminated at the Garrison area of Port Harcourt.
