Materials have been distributed - INEC
As Bayelsans prepare to go to the polls for tomorrow’s Governorship election, the Head of voters' education of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Bayelsa state Wilfred Ifojah has said that all Non-sensitive materials have been taken to the eight local government areas of the state in preparation for the elections.
He made the disclosure while speaking with Galaxy news Dele Fasan at the INEC headquarters in Yenagoa the Bayelsa state capital.
Speaking on election materials, the INEC head of voter education said they are in the last stage of preparation.
On cases of boat mishap in elections, he stressed that adequate measures have been put in place to address the issue.
Meanwhile, operatives of the police Anti-Bomb unit and other plain cloth security agents in their hundreds were still visible at the headquarters waiting to be moved by the electoral commission to their various units, as checks were being carried out on anyone entering INEC office.
