Officers of the Oyo State Police Command have arrested a suspected rapist, identified as Mayowa Oladejo in the Saki area of the state.

Also, the Command equally nabbed six suspects within the Ibadan metropolis for being in possession of Indian hemp and disturbance of public peace while the last suspect was arrested in connection with a robbery.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Ngozi Onadeko who paraded the suspects at the command headquarters on Monday says the feat remains an indication that police in Oyo State is committed to the security of residents.

She added that the command under her watch will not rest on its oars but will leave no stone unturned towards making the state unconducive for criminals.

The Commissioner of Police called for the continuous support of the people, especially in the area of credible information. The suspect arrested in conception with rape also speaks on his escapade.
