Okpebholo suspends revenue collection in Edo
Newly sworn-in Edo State Governor,  Monday Okpebholo, has called for the immediate suspension of the collection of all revenues in the state, especially in motor parks and others until further notice. 
 
The governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary  Fred Itua, said the governor also ordered the state commissioner of police to arrest anyone who flouts the order.
 
Okpebholo said he would soon review the issues surrounding the collection of revenues, and decide on the next line of action.
 
According to the governor,  Anyone seen collecting revenues on behalf of the State Government will be arrested and prosecuted to serve as deterrent to others.
 
 
Governor Okpebholo was sworn in as the governor of Edo on Tuesday, marking an end to the eight year tenure of Godwin Obaseki as the state governor.
