Obaseki lauds Muslims for relative peace in Edo
Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki has commended members of the state pilgrim welfare board for their support, in sustaining the relative peace in the state.
Governor Obaseki made the disclosure during the flag off of the Edo food support program for Muslims in the state in Benin city.
According to the governor, the Muslim community have contributed towards the relative peace being enjoyed by the state, hence the state has no issue with religious crisis.
Responding, the chairman Edo welfare and pilgrim board Sheikh Ibrahim Oyarekua, spoke on the received food items which include thousands of bags of rice, beans among others.
