Son of the president Mr. Seyi Tinubu has launched drug banks to cater for the medical needs of poor patients in Asaba the Delta state capital.

The event which took place at the Federal Medical Center in Asaba, is described as an health intervention scheme meant to surpass the Sustainable Development Goal 3 in Nigeria.

Fielding questions from newsmen after the launch, the president son who was represented by the national coordinator Dr. Ayodele Benson-Cole, said the scheme is not political but about reaching out to the needy.

Also speaking, the Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Center Dr. Victor Osituma expressed joy over the gesture.
