The House of Representatives has queried some agencies of Government for refusing to honor invitation sent to it by the parliament.

Vice Chairman, House of Representative Committee on Finance, Saidu Abdullahi made the query on Monday when some agencies and parastatals of government refused to show up haven been invited by the Standing Committee to investigate their financial obligations to the coffers of the Federal government.

Out of the Eight agencies that were expected to appear, only two came while two other agencies requested for a reschedule and four others ignored the invitation.

The Financial regulatory Council of Nigeria as well as the National Health Insurance Commission who appeared before the Committee were asked to come back next week with full details of the requirements as requested by the Committee.

Those agencies who failed to appear were summoned to appeared before the committee to do so unfailingly on Tuesday by 12 noon.
