Obaseki launches food palliatives to cushion economic challenges
The Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki has launched the Edo state food support palliatives, to support the people of the state in facing the economic hardship.
The governor launched the program in Benin city the Edo state capital, with the aim of feeding the poorest of the poor in the state.
Speaking at the launch, governor Obaseki said the aim is to ensure that those who find it difficult to feed themselves in this difficult times are supported by the state government and monitored.
On his part, the chairman of the food program thanked the governor for his commitment towards citizens welfare in the state
