The federal road safety corps, Lagos state sector command has commenced an enlightenment campaign to create awareness on the need to keep the road accident free through the remaining ember months and beyond.

The theme for this year ember month’s sensitization campaign is SPEAK UP AGAINST DANGEROUS DRIVING: CRASHES KILL MORE PASSENGERS THAN DRIVERS'. This is to encourage passengers to report reckless drivers and be part of the drive to prevent crashes on the Nigeria roads.

Speaking at the press conference, the sector commander, CORPS COMMANDER KEHINDE HAMZAT said passenger’s involvement in checkmating reckless drivers will go a long way at reducing road crashed. To make the road safe all through this period and beyond, drivers were advised to adhere with all laid down regulations for road usage and eschew driving under pressure.
