The Unizik branch of the Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) has in keeping with their tradition, granted scholarship to a 300 level student of the department of electronics and computer engineering.

The scholarship cheque of one hundred thousand Naira was issued during the congress of the union, held at the University's auditorium in Awka, the Anambra state capital.

Speaking on the scholarship, the recipient of the award, Master Ani Emmanuel Chinemelum thanked the Union for coming to his aid, saying that school life had always been a struggle for him.
