Academic Staff Union of Universities of Benue State University and the Federal University of Agriculture, now Joseph Sewuam Tarka University have both suspended their strike action.

The suspension came shortly after it held its congress where the resolution was taken to suspend strike and commence academic activities.

Both Unions appeal to the federal government to fulfil part of its bargain and pay lecturers their salaries to enable them resume effectively.

Meanwhile, as the time Galaxy tv visited students were yet to resume some of them who spoke expresses mixed feelings over resumption however says it is good thing but hope that this does not happened again, while they called on the federal government to accede to ASUU demands.
