Oyo records 10 cases of COVID-19
Oyo state has recorded 10 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 292.
Governor Seyi Makinde who made the disclosure through his tweeter handle which was monitored by Galaxy TV Ibadan correspondent stated that the 10 confirmation tests came back positive.
He added that eight of the cases are from the Ibadan telecommunication company while the other two cases are from Ibadan North Local Government Area.
Makinde appealed to residents of the state to remain calm as his government would intensify free testing for residents.
He also appealed to them to continue to observe social distancing as well as regular washing of hands with alcoholic based sanitizers.
