The People's Democratic Party in Kogi state has rejected the results of the Kogi state gubernatorial election.

The party accused political thugs working in collaboration with security agencies of stealing the mandate of the people.

The gubernatorial candidate of the PDP, Musa Wada cited Okenne as one of the local government where the malpractice was perpetrated against the people.

He condemned the violence meted on the people of Kogi state allegedly by the APC.

Wada said he is speaking with his lawyers to know his next line of action.

According to the PDP candidate, election results were written in favour of the APC.
