Ihedioha bemoans govt house deplorable condition
The executive governor of Imo state, right Honourable Emeka Ihedioha in less than forty-eight hours after his inauguration has inspected the facilities in the government house in preparation towards his resumption.
The governor in company of his deputy engineer Gerald Irona and other stakeholders in the state went round the facilities one after the other.
Inspected places include the Sam Mbakwe exco chamber, old and new governor’s lodge, glass house where the governor’s office is situated, Ndubisi Kanu Chamber among others.
Addressing newsmen shortly after the inspection the governor express dissatisfaction over the dilapidated condition of the government house, major parts of the facilities were found unkempt and certainly not fit for use.
While calling for immediate renovation of the government house, Ihedioha assured Imo people of prompt delivery of his campaign promises. He said despite the difficult situation at hand his government will give no excuses for not performing.
Others who took part in the inspection includes the chief press secretary to the governor Mr Chibuike Onyeukwu, the commissioner of police CP Rabiu Ladodo, the 34 artillery brigade commander brigadier general Y. I Tukura among several other dignitaries.
