Umuagwo Nekede community decries activity of ritualist
The people of Umuagwo Nekede community in Owerri west local government area of Imo state have decried the activities of ritualists in their environs.
They said, the sudden disappearance and deaths of innocent citizens in the area is now prevalence in their locality.
It would be recalled that one Celestine Oduocha popularly known as Donblack blood, was fingered to be the suspect behind the numerous calamities in the area.
In a jungle justice approach, members of the community in mob action descended on Oduocha's house where they discovered various charms and numerous pictures of innocent victims of his ungodly acts.
While reacting to the development, leaders in the community said they have been monitoring the suspected ritualist for sometime now and evident that he engages in such act have been carefully gathered and presented to the police.
Attempts to get the accused narrate his own side of the story proved abortive.
Meanwhile, the police in swift reaction have shielded the accused suspected ritualist from further interrogation and lynching by the mob. The police authority also declined comment as it's claimed that the matter is still under investigation.
