Tinubu Set to Travel to China to Perfect Rail Contract, Other MOUs
President Bola Tinubu will travel to China by the first week of September 2024 to perfect some business plans that will encourage development in the country.
According to the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the trip will afford President Tinubu an opportunity to meet with the Prime Minister, Xi Jinping where bilateral matters will be discussed.
President Tinubu would also meet with the management of China's construction giants, the Chinese Rail Construction Company (CRCC) with a view to concluding contract terms for the Ibadan to Abuja rail project.
The Presidential Spokesman who addressed State House Correspondents on Tuesday, at the presidential villa also explained that the trip will attract other foreign direct investment for Nigeria, especially in the areas of agriculture, power, commerce, communications where several MOUs would be signed.
