REPS: FCT Committee Approves N288BN Supplementary Budget For Projects
The House of Representatives' Committee on FCT has approved a N288 billion supplementary budget for the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).
The budget, prompted by additional inflows from Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and Miscellaneous Revenues amounting to N8 billion and N280 billion respectively, aims to support critical developmental projects in the capital city.
The Committee, led by Hon. Aliyu Muktar Betara, emphasized the urgency of passing the bill to initiate the projects.
President Bola Tinubu highlighted the positive socio-economic impact of ongoing projects and the need to fulfill key deliverables, some of which were omitted from the 2024 budget.
