Policeman injured, vehicle damaged by hoodlums in Delta community
One policeman was said to have been injured, while their operational vehicle was damaged by hoodlums in Ughelli North local government area of Delta state.
The police in a statement by its spokesperson Edafe Bright, said the hoodlums attacked the police surveillance vehicle attached to the Ughelli area command, as one of the officers was wounded and receiving treatment in the hospital.
Ten suspects according to the police is presently in their custody and will face possible prosecution.
The Delta police commissioner Olufemi Abaniwonda urge residents to go about their lawful business, while also warning protesters to steer clear of the East West road for businesses to thrive.
