The police in Delta says it has arrested three suspected armed robbers in Sapele community.

According to a statement by the state police spokesperson Edafe Bright made available to our correspondent, said the assistant police commissioner Julius Robinson led a tactical team and stormed the hideout of the armed robbery suspects terrorizing residents.

The 19-year-old gang leader named Destiny Okpako and two of his gang members were arrested, while items recovered from them include one Beretta pistol, one locally made cut-to-size gun, three cutlasses as well as phones and other personal effects belonging to victims.

Some.of the robbed victims were said to have identified the suspects and their valuables, while the suspects confessed of involving in six robbery operations within Sapele metropolis.
