The South East branch of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria MACBAN has declared as false, reports making the round that the south-east will soon burn because of their stubbornness.

Debunking the report, the leader of MACBAN in the South East, Modibbo Sidiq said Fulanis in the south-east enjoy a cordial relationship with their host and that any talk of violence is not only false but misleading.

Reacting to the recent issue of his group joining the Vigilante group in the south-east, Alh. Sidiq said it was only a suggestion made with the intention of identifying criminal elements who are exploiting the security situation in the country to smear the name of the Fulani's.
